The Carlow JDL U13 side lead the way in Group One of the SFAI Subway Championship in Leinster, having won both of their games to date.
An opening day victory over the NDSL was followed up by an impressive away win against the NECSL, and they will be on the road again for their final group game when they travel to take on the Midlands SL.
The MSL side are level with the NECSL in second place, and the last round of fixtures will decide whether teams enter the Championship or Plate competitions when the knockout phase begins.
The outcome of Group Two in the U13 competition in Leinster is less clear, with Kilkenny currently topping the table, although both the DDSL and Kildare have played one game less.
The five team group, which includes Wexford DSL and Drogheda SCL, has already seen some cracking ties, and it promises to be full of excitement as the games continue.
In the U15 SFAI Subway Championship in Leinster, Wexford top Group One with two wins from two, while Carlow JDL and Wicklow have picked up a win each.
In Group Two, Drogheda SCL have been in superb form, and lead the way, while Kilkenny DSL and NECSL sit second and third. The DDSL and Midlands SL make up the other two spots.

Following a thrilling weekend of the SFAI Skechers National Cup action in several regions across the country, the draws for the third/fourth rounds took place earlier today.
Often the most exciting, the rounds will eventually produce the teams lucky enough to go forward for the National Round of 32 draw, which takes place in December.
At that stage, teams from around the country come out of their regions to take on others from around Ireland when the competition resumes in January.
These rounds also link into the regional side of the competition, with 40 finals in total taking place across the eight regions.
On Saturday, the SFAI traveled to Tipperary for the U13 clash between Cahir Park AFC and Cashel Town – you can check out the video above or on the SFAI Facebook page.

The SFAI Subway Championship got off to a flying start last weekend, with several leagues kicking off their 2019/20 season in style.
The competition provides competitive football for all 31 SFAI affiliated leagues – promoting their best performing players through group and knockout football.
Games got underway in Connacht, Leinster and Munster, with the Ulster competition kicking off this month.
In Connacht, the Longford League’s U13 side registered a superb win over Galway, running out 4-2 winners thanks to four goals from Christian Donlon.
The Longford youngster was in inspired form, and the win sees the league register a vital win in their opening game.
Elsewhere, Mayo SL travelled to Roscommon to face the RDYSL and returned home with a 3-1 victory in the U13 competition, while in the U15 section in Connacht, Mayo beat the RDYSL 4-0.
In Leinster, just two games took place, with the DDSL’s U13 team travelling to Wexford where they registered a 1-0 win thanks to Aaron Donnelly’s strike.
Wexford’s U15’s also lined out on Sunday and overcame Wicklow in Group One.
This month will see the rest of the leagues in Leinster enter the competition, with two matchdays before the bank holiday weekend.
Several games were played in Munster, in the U13 section, and Limerick District, North Tipperary and West Cork all recorded wins in the U13 Group One.
In the U13 Group Two, Cork made the trip to WIT Arena to play Waterford, and a 4-1 win meant they returned home with all three points.
Like in Leinster, the U15 section of the Munster competition will begin this month, with two matchdays scheduled.
The SFAI Subway Championship will get underway this weekend, and the 2019/20 competition will see more than 100 teams from 30 leagues across Ireland take part at U12, U13, U15 and U16 levels.
Last season saw schoolboy leagues including Longford, Cavan/Monaghan, South Tipperary, Cork, Carlow JDL and DDSL all claim national titles in both the Championship and Plate.
Like last season, the U13 and U15 competitions will be the first to get underway, and some teams in Munster, Connacht and Leinster begin their journey this Saturday and Sunday.
Games in the Ulster region will begin on the next matchday, scheduled for October, and teams in all four regions will build towards reaching the regional and national finals later in the season.
Although several sides will line out this weekend, many other leagues will kick off their season in the coming weeks – fixtures in full are available on SFAI.ie.
The U12 and U16 competitions will get underway later in the season, and those finals will take place in May.
Subway’s support of schoolboy football continues right across the island of Ireland, and the Subway Championship gives the best performing players from 30 SFAI affiliated schoolboy leagues the opportunity to compete against their rivals, both locally and nationally.
Subway’s support has been crucial to enabling the SFAI to develop its competitions, and we all look forward to working with them throughout the 2019/20 season.
