Rosenallis FC were celebrating again on Saturday as their U12’s progressed to the quarter-finals of the SFAI Skechers National Cup.

The Laois youngsters, having overcome Corduff in the last round, headed to Kilkenny full of confidence, and they came out on the fright side of 1-0 scoreline against Thomastown United.

The club have been enjoying their time in the National Cup this year, and the journey looks set to continue.

Rosenallis are now among some of the best teams in the country, with the likes of St Kevin’s Boys, St Joseph’s Boys and Douglas Hall all in the hat for the next round.

The draw for the quarter-finals is set to take place next week once the remaining fixtures in the national cup are complete.
