Templeogue United earned their place in the last 16 of the U13 SFAI Skechers National Cup on Saturday with a 3-1 over Villa.

Travelling to Waterford, the young United side had their sights set on the prize from the off, and they will now play at home to Home Farm later this month.

The game itself on Saturday was a highly competitive one, and the all-important goals for the visitors came from Jack Crolly, Sean Lanagan and Sean Benton.

Conor McCabe netted the goal for the Villa, and despite the loss, they will now face Evergreen in their regional semi-final.

For Templeogue, the win continues what has been an excellent run in the SFAI Skechers National Cup, and they will relish the chance to welcome Home Farm in the last 16.
