It was another remarkable round of games in the last 32 of the SFAI Skechers National Cup for St Kevin’s Boys as all five of their teams progressed to the last 16.

On Sunday morning one of their two U12 teams came through a tough tie with Cork side Corinthians Boys, eventually winning 4-1 on penalties after the tie had ended 1-1.

Meanwhile, their other U12 side travelled to Bridge United, and registered an impressive 2-0 win.

Elsehwere, the St Kevin’s U13 side were on the road, travelling to Aisling Annacotty, and returned to Dublin with a comfortable win in the bag.

For the U14’s, it was a trip to Westport, and once again, the boys from Shanowen Road proved too strong for their opponents.

As for the St Kevin’s Boys U15 side, they had to overcome Drogheda Town FC at Shanowen Road, and they certainly did not do it the easy way.

Having gone two up, they were pegged back to 2-2, and then 3-3, but two penalty decisions late on in the game meant they booked their place in the last 16.
