Cork’s U15 side will face Limerick District in the Munster regional final of the SFAI Subway Championship after they overcame a stern test against Clare on Sunday.

The game was scoreless at half-time, and then finished 1-1 at full-time, so extra-time was required.

Cork went on to bag two goals in the additional minutes to book their place in the regional showpiece event.

Brandon Idah continued his good run of form in the competition to cancel out Clare’s opener, and he then added a second once extra-time was underway.

Middleton’s Dylan Field added a third goal to seal the Cork side’s place in the final, where they will face a Limerick District side team who beat West Cork 5-1, also on Sunday.
